How long does it take for my order to be processed?
Please allow 2-5 business days from the time of purchase for order processing. For any questions regarding orders, please contact us at info@privosa.com. We will always make our best efforts to accommodate requests for expedited processing.
Is insurance included?
Your order will be fully insured before it’s shipped to you. We encourage our customers to check their package for any damage or tampering before signing a receipt for it.
When will my order be shipped?
For all available products there is a section with all necessary details regarding the product and its arrival date. If you place your order before the end of a business day (Monday through Friday), your order will be processed that day. If you place an order on a holiday, the weekend (Saturday or Sunday), or after a regular business day, your order will be processed the next business day.
Can Privosa ship to alternate addresses?
If you are not home to sign for your package upon its arrival, Privosa is able to ship the order to your workplace, or another destination of convenience to ensure you are signing off on your package. As a security precaution and protection against fraud, an order priced $1,000 or more listed to be delivered to a destination other than your billing address, will need confirmation from your credit card or financing company to determine the alternate shipping address is on file. To expedite your merchandise, calling your bank and providing an alternate shipping address will help speed up the process.
Can Privosa ship internationally?
Shipping is free only to the United States. Products being shipped within the U.S. will require seven business days to reach their given destination. There is a limited number of countries that Privosa ships to internationally, and a fee will be included depending on the region. Time of arrival will depend on the logistics of the shipping destination in terms of international shipping. Once a country is selected, a better idea of time to reach destination will be given to Privosa customers.
What is your return policy?
At Privosa we tailor our highest quality jewels to fulfill your special occasions. That’s why, if you’re not 100% satisfied with your selection you have 21 days from the day of purchase to obtain a full refund or exchange.
Taking the next big step and purchasing an engagement/wedding ring, future family heirloom, anniversary present etc. for a loved one requires a dazzling selection for a sure investment – our 21 day return policy ensure you have ample time to commit to your sentimental investment. If an unset ring or diamond is purchased they can be returned separately.
We understand that it's important to see the product before buying it. If you wanted to see the stone and setting both in person before moving forward with ordering a set ring, we encourage you to order them separate from each other. This way you are able to see both and are able to return them if need be. We accept returns on any stones or settings if they are purchased prior to being set.
What items are non-refundable?
Because of the delicate nature of engraved jewelry, and the added cost of altering the customization, Privosa cannot accept engraved items for return. Any merchandise damaged during shipping should be brought to our immediate attention, by contacting us at (281) 515-8180 and a full refund can be given within the 21 day period. In order to return an item you purchased through Privosa, it must be insured. Return shipping will not be covered by Privosa, and will be the responsibility of the customer. All jewelry must be returned in the unworn state it was delivered in. If jewelry has been sized, adjusted, engraved or set it can not be returned. Diamonds must be in the exact condition it was delivered, with the GIA certification included. If you return a loose diamond without the certificate, there is a fee of $250 for diamonds 4.99 carats and under. If the diamond is over 4.99 carats, please call us at (281) 515-8180, as the fee will be higher.
What fees are associated with international returns?
International customers will be responsible for paying any duties, taxes, VAT, or surcharges levied or charged by their country. Prior to placing your order contact taxation authorities to confirm taxes and duties on international packages. For fast, secure and reliable service, Privosa advises customers to use FedEx, our preferred G4SI insured carrier.
How can I process a return?
We value your business, and security, that’s why here at Privosa we do not ship to P.O. Boxes and we require an adult’s signature to release the package.
Once you’ve made the decision to return your purchase, contact Privosa and one of our experienced staff members will answer any and all of your questions and concerns, as well as go over the return process more in depth. A simplified version of the process is listed out below:
- Contact Privosa at (281) 515-8180 and inform us when you plan to ship the package to us. You will also receive a return authorization number that needs to be placed near the return address to further facilitate your reimbursement in a timely fashion.
- To ensure the security of your merchandise when packaging return items of jewelry/diamond(s), please use nondescript marking. We recommend using the original box, as well as any collateral materials that arrived with your purchase. If your purchase came with a diamond certificate and you fail to return said certificate, you will be liable for the replacement cost. For added security to do not place Privosa’s name on the package, or any information that will show the value of the product inside as this will make the package more liable to be stolen. Use "PFJ" instead.
- Any promotional items that were included in the original package must be returned for a full refund of the order.
- While you will be receiving a full refund for your purchase upon the return of your merchandise, all customers are responsible for return shipping and insurance costs. Privosa recommends that you use FedEx return shipping and insurance so that we can ensure the merchandise is returned quickly, and safely.
